The most severe losses due to natural disasters, paralyzed business activity


NEW YORK: United States (U.S.) faces losses of U.S. $ 45 billion after Hurricane Irene struck the eastern coastal region, natural disasters deemed among the most expensive so far, following the close of business activity, loss of life and property.
