Aaliyah was One In A Million

On August 25, 2001 was R & B singer Aaliyah involved in a fatal plane crash that ended his life at age 22. Today marks the 10th anniversary of his death and She Knows take this time to remember the legacy she left behind fascinating. 
Aaliyah Dana Haughton was a successful singer and actress with a successful career. In 2001 she released her self-titled third album and preparing for a role in the Matrix sequels, everything came to a halt.

She used her new celebrity to grow by becoming a role in Romeo Must Die opposite Jet Li martial arts. 


The film was a cult hit and featured a band led by the hit single "Try Again", which Aaliyah performed. 


Queen of the Damned, Aaliyah last film was released February 22, 2002 - six months after his death. It marked the official end of his career flourished. Unlike most in their twenties, who populate the industry today, Aaliyah is not dependent on sex to sell. It was hypnotic beats, catchy lyrics and dance that has engaged a large audience.
